EDUCATION FOUNDATION PROGRAMSThe popular ProStart program is a nationwide, industry-created curriculum designed to train and introduce high school students to careers in the restaurant and foodservice industry.
ScholarshipsAre you pursuing a food-related degree and need funds for your education? The WRA Education Foundation awards over $40,000 in scholarships annually based on future plans in foodservice, academic records and recommendations, courtesy of the Endowment Fund. Student CompetitionsCollege and high school students compete in culinary and management competitions at the Midwest Foodservice Expo each March, creating meals or business plans to be reviewed by a panel of judges. Winners can earn cash prizes, scholarships and the chance to compete on a national level.
